North Austin is known for more affordable homes, perfect for families who are looking for larger floorplans at a cheaper price than what central Austin has to offer, but before you think of moving you should hire a good moving company like St Petersburg movers they can help you with everything you need, they move all the things you can imagine!!

Most homes in the northwest area around where Highway 183 and Mopac (Loop 1) cross were built in the 1960s-80s and are surrounded by beautiful post oak trees. This also known for shopping areas like The Domain and the Arboretum. Schools in this area can fall into Round Rock ISD, and are generally thought of as higher-performing schools than in the northeast, which is east of Mopac. Though you can find some Austin original restaurants and stores, you’ll find the majority of the retail experiences are with chain stores. As with all of Austin, the more west you go, the more expensive you’ll find the housing like in Northwest Hills and Balcones. Those that wish to take a train into downtown should pay attention to where the CapMetro Rail stops are, and can avoid being stuck in traffic on their way to work, all of these are things to consider before hiring the Secure Move company in order to move in to Austin.

Above Parmer Lane you’ll find some older established neighborhoods like Wells Branch, which many families love because of its affordability, if you are planing on moving to Austin, Essex removals can make your moving experience easier. Everything is relative closeness to townThat being said, it won’t feel close at 5:30pm when you’re stuck on I-35 traffic.

North Austin, one of our most affordable areas of town, is bordered by Braker Lane to the north, 290 to the east, 183 to the south, and Mopac (1) to the west, perhaps rivaled only by Southeast Austin in terms of affordability.  You’ll find plenty of grocery stores catering to Hispanic or Asian clientele, including a large stripmall which is refered to as “Chinatown.” Some of my most favorite restaurants are in this area, but then again I tend to gravitate towards hole-in-the-wall Asian and Mexican joints. To be perfectly honest, this area is not the first choice of Austinites. However, you can find some affordable gems in this area. It pays to check out neighborhoods and schools (including charter school options) before renting or buying sight unseen.
